1.The Alliances of World War I
The Triple Alliance also known as the Central Powers consisted mainly of Germany, Austria-Hungary, Italy, and the Ottoman- Empire.
The Triple Entente also known as the Allies consisted mainly of the British Empire, France, and Russia.

2.The Schieffen Plan
The Schlieffen Plan was created on December of 1905 by General Count Alfred von Schlieffen. the plan intended to defeat France first before Russia's military could mobilize to make sure they would have a quicker victory in France Germany decided to march through neutral Belgium. Britain and allied forces had already signed treaty for Belgium to remain neutral after hearing of this Britain became outraged.The execution of the Schlieffen Plan led to Britain declaring war on Germany on August 4th, 1914.

3.Concepts of " Summer War" and Total War
The concept of total war was that all of a nation's entire resources needed to be used into the war effort. (Give examples)
This poster represents an example of ways different countries use of propoganda to get people of their nation involed and contribute what they can to the war. Examples that were used by the U.S to contribute were victory gardens and liberty bonds.
